Have conducted seminars and clinics in several countries including Japan, Russia, Switzerland, Italy, England, France, Scotland, Austria, Netherlands, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic, Germany, USA and Canada.
Served on the Shanahan Summit Committee in 2004 for NHL Standard of Enforcement changes.
Developed and selected the officiating team made up of NHL and International officials for the Olympic Tournament games of the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver, Canada and the 2014 Olympics in Sochi, Russia. During these tournaments I managed and assigned the officials for the Games.
Managed and assigned the officials for the 2014-15 World Junior Tournament in Montreal and Toronto as well as the 2015 Men’s World Championships in Ostrava/Prague.
Served on many committees to establish and develop the standards and systems used in hockey officiating at the NHL level as well as amateur levels.

2009-2013 Senior Vice President and Director of Officiating for the NHL
2013-2017 Officiating Consultant for the NHL
Currently working with the U.S. Polo Association on standard of enforcement
Currently on Board of Directors for the National Association of Sports Officials
Currently on the Advisory Board for Respect In Sports Group

Awards
1989 named to the Ontario Hockey Association Honor Roll
2007 winner of the Ron Foxcroft Award presented by the Sports Officials of Canada for excellence in officiating at the professional level and for contributing to the world of officiating.
2008 inducted into the Guelph Sports Hall of Fame.
2012 NASO Gold Whistle Award for contribution to the World of Officiating across all sports in North America.
